01

Leave it here.

Drop files, images, links or selected text into the tray at the top of your Mac.

02

Stay with your flow.

It saves on your Mac. The tray tucks away. You carry on with what you were doing.

03

Come back when it’s time.

Peek, preview or open. Everything you left is there when you’re ready for it.

Just enough.
And nothing in your way.

Your things.
Your Mac.

A few little details

Good to know.

Simple on the surface.
Thoughtful underneath.

What can I leave in Notch Now?

Files, images, links and plain text. Copy and paste, or drag supported content into the tray. Clipboard images can be PNG or TIFF. Folders, app packages and attachments that haven’t been saved as files aren’t supported yet.

Does my Mac need a notch?

No. On a notched display, Notch Now sits around the camera cutout. On other displays, you get a tray at the top centre. The current development build is for Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 14 or later; broader compatibility testing is still underway.

Where does my stuff go?

It stays on your Mac. Notch Now doesn’t upload your captures, and only reads the clipboard when you explicitly capture or paste. Files are saved as independent copies, so changing or deleting an original won’t remove the captured copy. Opening a saved file opens that copy. Local storage isn’t separately encrypted.

Can I undo removing something?

Yes. Press Command–Z to restore the last removed item. Removed items remain recoverable, even after relaunch, until you explicitly empty them from the app’s menu.

Can I download it yet?

Notch Now is in development. We’re refining the everyday experience before making a public release available. The interactive preview above gives you a feel for the idea using sample items.
